  • Weekly Praise

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever.” - Psalm 136:1,26

    Hey Everyone,

Wow, it's Saturday again? This week has been so hectic and stressful, it went by very quickly. To be honest, writing this post about praise and blessings is what I least feel like doing right now. I've had such a hard time emotionally the past 24 hours that all I want to do is feel depressed, rather than happy. Which is why I'm writing it. What better a time to pull myself out of the miseries and into thinking about the wonderful thing that happened.

    List of Praise:

    • I am so thankful that God has shown Himself to me. Although this is not something new, it keeps reviving itself in my life lately -- last night in particular. Praise God that He led me to Him, because I don't know if I would have survived last night without Him. At times like the severe pain and distress I was in then, He is the only thing that kept me alive. The only reason I pushed through it, and the only one I had to turn to for help and support.
    • I praise Him for the good times He brought to us this past week, in particular a very fun snowball fight and some laughs with my mom and a couple friends. It's wonderful to just be happy and worry free for a time, enjoying life in a good way.
    • I praise Him for giving me the opportunity to pray for a friend of ours upon learning of his severe problems, and that God has provided us a way to help him if he needs it.
    • I praise Him for how He has helped a very dear from of mine recently! I got some wonderful news from her that I am just so happy about! God has done so much for her and her family, and I can't wait to see what He'll do next.
    • I praise Him for the wonderful sunrise that I was able to experience this morning.
    • I praise Him for helping my mom this week, as she's been under so much stress.
    • I thank God for His help in fighting some temptations, and for His forgiveness when I fell.
    • Most importantly, praise God for His continued patience with us all.

May you all have a wonderful Sabbath!

    The Lord's very appreciative servant,
    Sarah
